WalkFit Orthodics Severely overcharged for shipping fees Rancho Cucamonga California

My wife ordered orthodics from this company. A few hours later she called to cancel, she was told it is not in the system yet and to call back on Monday. Knowing Monday was a holiday, she questioned if they were open and was assured they were.

Upon calling back on Monday, they were closed. Called back on Tuesday morning and we were told they are unble to cancel due to being shipped.

Funny how we were told it could take up to 8 weeks to ship unless you paid expedited shipping for $9.95. She choose to ship faster.

Now there was nothing to do but send them back and pay more shipping, we were fine with that. The entire order, 2 pair of orthodics came shipped in (1) bag by USPS. The invoice states (rush) S/H $9.95, and $29.95 Ship cost plus the 19.95 for each pair.

To charge this amount of money for shipping one small bag by the USPS is ridiculous. They only want to refund $9.95, thats all we thought we were paying for shipping to begin with.

From what I see at this point the company is a scam and not very diplomatic to deal after the ordering part is over.
