H & P FIRE EQUIP CO. INSPECTIONS CYNTHIA R JAIME, Fire Inspection Scam, Pretending to be LA County Fire Marshalls Pico Rivera, California

We received a bill from H & P Fire Equip. Co Inspections after a person posing as a part of the LA County Fire Marshall WITH a fake badge came to do an inspection which we were told was a routine and necessary part of fire safety. 

Two weeks later, we get a bill for 390.30 for an inspection of our 14 smoke alarms and exit lights and sprinklers. On the original inspection form, there was no charges and no "billing" area shown. On a carbon copy on the bottom, i believe is the form showing the charges which then are written in after a representative of the business is tricked into signing the inspection.

THey also will add in other words to the inspection such as "mrg" to try to signify that person had authority to sign the inspection form. I believe that they are doing this under several names as we also had a company who tried to do this with us last year called A.M.G. Fire Service Co. I believe that the culprit may be the same person as the handwriting is the same. This new company sends us a W-9 Form under Cynthia R Jaime, with her Social security number there. The previous company was under the name A.M.G. Extreme Inc. 

The PO Boxes are in different Cities, Whittier and then Pico Rivera however the handwriting highly suggests that this group is doing this through multiple companies.
