I had cancelled my insurance, and still got billed which in turn ended up in collections with ccs. There are so many with this problem, how can we unite and get all our money back....this is fraud.

More Information?

AUTHOR: Robert - Irvine (U.S.A.)

There is a definite lack of detail here to see what the problem was.

For example if they billed you after you cancelled and it was sent to a collection agency that means you did not pay it. So if you did not pay it what money do you want back?

Its your personal responsibility

AUTHOR: Bob - Salem (U.S.A.)

An insurance policy is a contract between you and the insurance company. The premium you pay is for the time that you are insured. When you cancel the policy, it must be in writing and signed by you. Then the policy is cancelled as of the date you specify on the cancellation. The company then owes you for the unearned premium, as the premium is not earned until the time passes. If you do not cancel the policy, you still owe the money for the time that has passed, during which you were insured. If you didn't cancel the policy, you owe the money, and the company has the right to collect it.
