The Assurance Group - TAG - is an independent marketing group for insurance. They are recruiting nationally for agents to market the Medicare Advantage Plans,which they call the hottest insurance product of the century. Agents foolish enough to work with this company will find:
1. They could earn twice what TAG pays them by working for other marketing companies. TAG is offering $175 per MA enrollment. Other companies are paying $330 - $400.
2. TAG promises no propecting or cold calling with preset leads. The leads are basically crap often made with people who did not want to talk to you in the first place. Appointments are also made with people who do not need what you are selling and with people so far away you could spend 8 hours on the road just driving. And you pay for the leads. If they turn out bad, well that is your problem.
3. National sales directors who are paid to recruit bodies, period. You will never hear from them after your first interview and they don't respond to telephone calls or letters.
4. That you have been deceived about your contracts. They conveniently forget to tell you it will take an act of congress to get a release.
Bottom line is...avoid this company. You WILL get ripped off if you choose to work with them. The WORST mistake I have ever made.
