AFLAC Will not honor policy temp disability. Have been waiting for months. They arent going to pay. Internet

Look I am just an everyday person. I dont see where saying nasty things can be beneficial to anyone . But AFLAC is a rip off in my opinion. Stay away from them, though they probably do pay alot of claims. Just not mine. Right paper work, wrong paper work. I dont care. I basically hurt my back. I dont know how or where. I work hard moving heavy things. And on my day off I slipped on ice. Didn't feel any pain till the next day.

They sent me a claims form and told me since I didn't know how I hurt my back ,it was an illness !
And I could not draw a check for 2 weeks instead of 1 week as I payed extra for.(hmmmm)
I filled out my part of the claim form and had my chiropractor fill his part out. I mailed it in. And called them a few days later. On hold for 20 minutes finally they looked my claim up and said my claim was incomplete, they needed the employer section filled out. I understand but I asked them to fax it to my employer(who dosent give a hoot) they didnt like the idea but agreed to do so.

I waited 2 weeks and no check, called again and wait and just rude and uncaring to help, the employer hadnt sent the form back. OK, I kinda understand they need the fact of how much money I make as to what they are paying out. My pay stubb won't work and I am layed up in pain. Insurance is out and AFLAC is a joke. I needed that little bit of money badly. 2 months later I am still talking to them and they are making excuses, even after the employer assured me they had filled out their part of the form!

Bottom line. They will mess with you ,hoping you will go away. Its 50-50 if you get anything. I totally advise to avoid these corperate rip off people. They could have helped me get my meesly 3 to 4 weeks of coverage. But they wont, and thats my story. I need to see another doctor but have no insurance and will need cash. No cash because AFLAC wont come through. Still off work!
