Cigna Insurance Company RIPOFF - BAD FAITH - DISABILITY DENIED-PEER REVIEW A JOKE! Phoenix Arizona

I have been diagnosed with RSD and rendered disabled for over six years. This company has denied treatment recommended from all of the specialists I have seen. Now, they sent my case to a peer review Doctor who denied my disability. My documents that he reviewed had over 4 letters from doctors stating that I am and will be disabled until CIGNA approves the implant treatment they have recommended. What is the most interesting is, after all of these letters and the medical documents reviewed, the peer review Doctor stated in his report that he attempted communication with my PCP, but did not get in touch with him.

My doctor's office has submitted to me a COPY of the time/date/name/points discussed with this doctor! INTERESTING...Cigna does not want to pay disability, they do not want to pay for treatment recommended... Thanks to certain ERISA laws, CIGNA has nothing to lose by letting me fall through the cracks of their system... Not yet, anyway! If you have had the same problem with Cigna, please post a ripoff compliant! You are not alone!
