I did a free credit check over the internet.To my understanding,it was free,but when i went to withdraw $20 from the ATM out of my bank account,i was denied.I immediately called my bank to find out why i had insufficient funds,and the bank told me i was charged by CIC Credit Report.

wonder, while filling in the info to obtain your FREE credit report WHY they were asking for a credit card or banking info? ALL those places ask for it. It isnt just to verify info.....they plan on using it for whatever other crap they trap you into.

I do NOT understand soooooo many of these types of reports where people are screaming they are being charged for things unknown and dont understand HOW the particular business got their billing info.

It's more often than not because ya gave it to them....straight up.

Stop giving out this info and you wont be getting billed
