Instant Tax Service Instant Tax WILL file your taxes without your permission and with no w-2 if you fall for the SCAM loan when they tell you they will give you up to $1000, everyone only gets $50. Troy, Ohio

My wife and I went to instant tax service because of the advertisement where they loan you up to $1000 that IS NOT a refund anticipation loan. We were given a check for $50, (later found out that's what everyone at that office gets that we talked to), and were told to bring her w-2 in when she received it.

A week later and a week before she received her w-2 she received a call that her check was there.

When we got the $50 loan we were told we also had the option of doing our taxes elsewhere and bring them the $50, which was our intent.

The fees were almost double than anywhere we have since checked, and many are unexplained.

How did they file her tax return when the company she works for had not even prepared or submitted her w-2 into the IRS filing system? And no, we did not give them her last check stub to do it.

Further, she went in the following week to turn in an additional w-2, and was told her amendment would be done in February.
She called on Monday, February 6th and was told they were staying late to do amendments and to call tomorrow.

She called Tuesday and was told to call Wednesday and it should be ready.

She called Wednesday, February 8th and the manager, Billy Blake, told her in a very rude way when she inquired that just to come in and get it tomorrow.

This ofiice is in the business of scamming and ripping off the poor and those that need their money now.
