I did notify AMEX within that time frame, I have not heard from them as of today 1/1/2010.... I copied evey email she sent me stating that she was happy with her purchase, every UPS delivery notification, all receipts, you name it. I have also persued fraud charges against her as she is a blatant liar and thief. She is seriously unhappy that I plastered her name on the internet, she even had a Sgt. Paul Liesinger from Waverly, Iowa Police Dept. threaten me with jail if I wrote another thing about her. So the bottom line is that she got away with the theft, AMEX backed her even though I won the paypal dispute and even her local police dept. has shown their teeth towards me. All that I can hope for now is the federal trade commission does find her to be the thief she is and files criminal charges against her. AMEX has the freedom to snatch back money from any merchant for any reason. Don't believe me? Do the research, the internet is full of horror stories about dishonest consumers who use their credit cards to pay for purchases or services and only have to give a lame excuse as to why they do not want to pay and they will have their money refunded to them. I seriously pray that a class action law suit is filed against these card companies that have this policy.
