Merriem Wombacher an American Express cardholder ordered skin care and makeup from me, she paid with her AM EX card, I shipped, she received the goods, she emailed me and let me know she was satisfied with the products. She sold the goods on eBay as SweetSue98 (yeah sweet!) She ordered from me two more times and again, she was satisfied.

She then went sneaking behind my back and filed an illegal chargeback for order #1. They promptly removed $217.54 from my account. I am not able to talk to anyone inside American Express even though I won the dispute through PayPal. AM EX will not talk to me. I can prove that she got the goods and was satisfied. What can I do?

I have filed several reports with fraud agencies, I have also filed a report with the sheriff in my locale. Should I worry that she can come after me for filing a report here? Everything I wrote was the truth, not slander or defamation. I will continue to write to anyone who will listen to me because this person is a thief and a liar. I have proven it. Any advise is appreciated.

Report fraud to amex

Report fraud to american express, you only have 60 days to dispute a charge, but a dispute is different from fraud.  Amex will take your case if you tell them you want to report this as fraud.  A lot of time has passed since this posting, so I'm not sure if you can stilll report it.

I did notify AMEX within that time frame, I have not heard from them as of today 1/1/2010.... I copied evey email she sent me stating that she was happy with her purchase, every UPS delivery notification, all receipts, you name it.  I have also persued fraud charges against her as she is a blatant liar and thief. She is seriously unhappy that I plastered her name on the internet, she even had a Sgt. Paul Liesinger from Waverly, Iowa Police Dept. threaten me with jail if I wrote another thing about her. So the bottom line is that she got away with the theft, AMEX backed her even though I won the paypal dispute and even her local police dept. has shown their teeth towards me. All that I can hope for now is the federal trade commission does find her to be the thief she is and files criminal charges against her.  AMEX has the freedom to snatch back money from any merchant for any reason. Don't believe me? Do the research, the internet is full of horror stories about dishonest consumers who use their credit cards to pay for purchases or services and only have to give a lame excuse as to why they do not want to pay and they will have their money refunded to them. I seriously pray that a class action law suit is filed against these card companies that have this policy.

 

Thanks for your input. Unfortunatly, I will never see my money but the world will know that she is a low life.
