I made payment to merchant to register in net job using CCAVENUE but CCAVENUE didn't passed the money to the merchant. I suffered a lot because of this and been mailing continously to CCAVENUE and merchant but the reply from CCAVENUE was they passed the money to the merchant. From the merchant side they are refusing that they didn't received any amount from CCAVENUE. Because of this im unable to continue my net job as registered with the merchant as my registration amount didn't reached them. For the past one month i have been continously working on to get my amount back. CCAVENUE is a complete fraud, and scam payment gateway service provider.

Let me preface my saying that I am a CCAvenue merchant for last 5 years. And hence I was shocked to find such an allegation against CCAvenue on this website.
I have always been happy with the service and support I have received from them. I can understand that your experience as an end user might be different. But I tried to investigate this.
My conclusion is that the net job company (I got the merchant's name from CCAvenue) is fraudster. I did whois search on the domain name. The merchant has frequently changed the domain's whois information. I googled the fraud domain owners name and I found several forums where his name has been involved with "online job scam".
The modus operandi it seems is to blast emails to hundreds of thousands of people asking them to work from home. Unfortunately many people fall for this. The next thing the scamster does is say that you need to have certificate from third party website. This third party website is also setup by the scam artist. This "online certification" website charges money to give you a certificate. After that you go back to first website, only to find it was a scam. In this particular case, I also found linkages with Nigerian nationals.
Krish,
I would really recommend that you investigate a merchant before paying them online. CCAvenue really is a honest company. In fact, Government of India took their help immediately after December 2004 Tsunami hit India (CCAvenue helped Indian government to collect donations from Non Resident Indians). If my word is not enough, then have a look at their client list. Almost any corporate group worth its name in India is working with them.
You have been a victim of Online merchant fraud which is unfortunate - specially because there are not enough Cyber Laws in India which can prosecute scum merchants which give other honest companies a bad name.
