Cylon, LLC Charged $9.99 To My Sprint Cell Phone Bill, Sprint Won't Refund Cylon, LLC and Cell Phone Providers are in possible collusion, specifically Sprint because they won Scottsdale, Arizona

Back on January 17, 2009 i received 4 text messages within one minute and quickly responded for them to stop via text message. The messages were telling me i had three minutes to use a password to go to gamer-data.com for cheat codes for video games. Several weeks later I noticed charges on my cell phone bill for $9.99 each.

I initiated a chat session online with Sprint and they said that they would provide me with information to ask the third-party for a refund of the charges, then they changed their tune and said that they could not give me information to get a refund but that Sprint could not provide me with a refund either. I said i never authorized the charges to be made in the first place and said i wasn't sure it was entirely legal that this occurs, ironically the chat session was disconnected, very suspicious.

Shortly there after I received another text message from the same company that texted me in January indicating i had already stopped the service so it was clear that Sprint did communicate to them somehow, but why the consumer can't or why Sprint cannot refund charges that are CLEARLY UNAUTHORIZED, seems criminal.

From the looks of what I read on here a lot of people are being scammed by this game cheat code thing AS WELL AS SPRINT....nice to hear that other carriers are refunding the charges, but as of now I am stuck with $40.00 worth of charges I never signed up for or authorized.

I have filed reports with the FCC and Internet Crimes website that involves the FBI, etc. because this is clearly a scam that the cell phone companies are in collusion on. We need to bring these scammers and cell phone providers to justice, nothing like getting $40.00 worth of nothing when you are unemployed.
