CROOKED SKIN LOTION AD. "FREE TRIAL" .. that is .. UNTIL THEY BILL YOU $90.00 for it!!
They claim you can use what they send you for 2 weeks and if you don't like it, send it back. They FORGET TO MENTION they WON'T TAKE IT BACK!! I attempted to call twice to get their "special return number". I finally got through and was told it had been "over 2 weeks". Well.. I tried the WORTHLESS PRODUCT and then I attempted to get authorization to send it back.. then I was told I was "too late"
From now on I will stick with Cxxxxx and Mxxx Nxxx (((REDACTED))) COSMETICS!! They are about 1/3 the cost and work THREE TIMES AS WELL as the FAKE GARBAGE DERMITAGE ADVERTISES.
I approved a charge to my Discover Card of $6.95 for shipping and handling of a "FREE SAMPLE" of their skin lotion. It was stated this was a 14 day trial sample. I did not want the lotion. It was not as advertised. I discovered I needed to get a special code from the company (Dermitage) in order to return the product and not be billed the full price of $90!!! FOR SKIN LOTION. When I attempted to contact them via email, I only received ERROR reports. When I attempted to call their 800 number, they were always BUSY and the recording advised to call back later. I finally was able to get through on 03/26/2010 when I received my statement and realized they had charged me the additional $$ for the product. I waited until I finally got a "customer service" woman who had a pat answer for everything. 1) you are over the 14 day trail period; 2) OTHER people were able to get through to us. She blatantly refused to give me a code number or credit my Discover account. I THOUGHT by using my Discover Card I had some assurance if I was ever scammed. FORGET THAT!! I just closed my Discover Card account. They do not investigate disputes as they claim!! Discover knows DERMITAGE HAS MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND I DO NOT WANT - NOR WILL I EVER - PLACE ANY CHARGES THROUGH THIS COMPANY OR ANY RELATED COMPANY!!
