GREENTREE DATA, INC. ,OAN Web Scam and AT&T disinterest Web, Nationwide

The mystery charges on my At&T bill were just discovered. $8.23 per month for over a year.  Greentree Data, Inc. lists a phone number on my bill...I call it and was transferred to 800-215-1961.  I explained the charges were bogus and needed to be removed....the lady said they only had records of 2 months and would remove those only because they didn't show any other charges.  I again explained that I did not sign up for anything and have been charged for over a year.  She denied they had charged me.

I then called AT&T to advise them of this scam and to have the charges removed.  The CSR that I spoke with told me I had to have a cancellation code from Greentree before she could help me.  I obtained the cancellation code by going to cancelmyvm.com.

I called AT&T again and requested a supervisor.  After several minutes I was connected with 'Tammy' the supervisor.  I explained the whole story and told her that probably many of AT&T customers were being scammed and to check into the situation.  I also told her that all complaints about this scam include 'AT&T' and that the person at Greentree told me they were in partnership with AT&T.  I told the supervisor that the scam includes AT&T.  Tammy was very concerned and said she would notify her supervisor, try to remove the charges and then call me back to advise.  She never called me back!!!  SCAMMED
