Dano:
In order to sign up with them, you had to check a box that says you agree to their Terms and Conditions <hyperlinked> and their Privacy Policy <also hyperlinked>.
If you had, indeed, read the Terms and Conditions, none of the above of which you complained about would come as a surprise to you. I just finished reading the Terms and Conditions, which are in straightforward language, not legalese, and it is all there in black and white. Their Terms and Conditions pretty much say, "We can do anything we want and you can't do anything about it and though you may earn some money you might not ever see it."
So, don't check a box saying you read the Terms and Conditions if you didn't read them. Then you won't be surprised.
