Mags4cheap.com frustration for me no gift for my daughter Internet

I ordered People magazine for a birthday gift for my daughter - the web site indicated delivery should start in 4 to 6 weeks for a weekly magazine but I was forced to wait 10 weeks to request a followup status. I've been told the fulfillment center went out of business but corrections had been made and the magazine would be coming.

After 5 months I was informed People would not fulfill the order and my credit card would get a full refund in 48 hours. The next response was "our credit card processor is currently undergoing routine maintenance. You will receive a check for the full amount of your refund within 30 days."

Where did they come up with that excuse? They must get credit for creative writing in their email responses.

Of course more than a month has passed and no refund has arrived. I have placed numerous calls to their toll free phone - have never gotten anything other than voice mail and have never gotten a return call.

They kept coming up with empty promises beyond the timeframe for filing a complaint to dispute charges with the credit card company. I see Dave Shaw was listed as the president for Creative One Inc (mags4cheap & entertainment4 cheap). Wondering if it's the same Dave Shaw listed as VP for fail safe security just down the road from mags4cheap??
