This JERK wanted to buy my laptop for a "cousin in Nigeria." I went out of my comfort zone and did as he requested, and sent the laptop to the address he gave me for the "cousin" after I sent it he then said that I was required to pay $100 customs charge to get the laptop into Nigeria. I later found out through USPS that was not my responsibility. I then approached him when I found an article about the exact same scheme, just different names. He begged me not to call the cops on him and said he would pay my money back. He also asked me to wait until Tuesday to file a complaint as he would pay me for my computer and the shipping charge. He never sent the money, so I emailed him and asked why. He said he would think about it. I then told him he was taking food out of my kids mouths by taking my money like that. He told me to rob a bank or sell drugs to feed my children. I just want this monster to not scam anyone else like this.

It's hard to believe that there are still people out there that have not heard of these common Nigerian scams. Putting it simply, if Nigeria is involved, YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED.
" He begged me not to call the cops on him and said he would pay my money back."
That's funny. Do you really think the cops are going to go looking for some random scammer in Africa? He was just messing with you. For future reference, if you get an email from a Nigerian prince who needs help moving millions of dollars to the U.S., just delete it.

Who said the Nigerian scammers don't produce anything? That line is awesome. I think you should send him an extra hunderd dollars just for that.
What if they sent your laptop back to you and it was stuffed full of rhino poop and then you ate the rhino poop? Now THAT would be funny! You should totally do it.
