Outsourcing Room is owned by parent company CyberBionic Systematics. In early July 2009, it became apparent that this company had performed a data scrape on Elance.com, stolen user login and identifying information, and used it to build fake profiles on their site, which is a clone of Elance.com.
Thousands of Elance users were affected, and had their names, locations, and login information posted in fake profiles at Outsourcing Room. We also began receiving SPAM from the company. Elance contacted the web host and had the website removed.
However, it appeared on another server days later. Despite several cease and desist letters, they refuse to remove the personal, identifying information they stole by hacking into Elance's website.
When asked to remove one user's fake profile, Outsourcing Room advised him to log in and remove it himself. This is another phishing trick designed to get more information from the user, by requiring them to create an account with Outsourcing Room.
CyberBionic Systematics and their new company, Outsourcing Room, AND the CEO, one Dmitry Okhrimenko, are unethical identity thieves. Avoid the website at all costs and hope to God they don't get ahold of your information, as they did mine.

The same thing has happened to me. They somehow got my usual login name for most websites with a seemingly random password. I did not trust them for a minute and wonder if they have stolen any more of my personal information. I have sent them a request to immediately remove "my" account from their site. We'll see if they comply.

I was looking this site up after receiving an email from them saying I had joined their site, when I hadn't - first sign of scam, obviously. The next was that, the user name it had for me was essentially what I have on this site and most others - including Elance; however the email it was sent to is not affiliated with Elance (at least to my recollection, it isn't) and to top it off, the last bit the screen name, the numbers, were out of sequence; which I'm not sure what to make of, seeing as how, if the data had been ripped off from my Elance account, it would have been correct.
As luck should be, in this case at least, I have not been lucky enough to win any project bids and my activity on Elance is very low; so my information stored there isn't all that extensive, or else I'd be worried what information they might have gotten. Even then, I'll probably do a double check of that account to see what's all there and if there is anything of importance that I've forgotten was attached to that site.

Those scam artists have open profiles at different networks
Dmitry Okhrimenko's is here: cid-cd039a48a1f1ab5e.profile.live.com and here: social.cbsystematics.com/profile.cbsx?user=Alex. It looks like that 37 yo nerd has nothing else to do rather then still people's information. I just hope that Ukraine police will beat his ass up at some point.
