http://columbia.craigslist.org/ofc/1690526157.html this is the link to the ad I responded to via email from craigslist.org looking for a job. He claims I as "hired" As much as I could really use the money, I beleive this to be a scam. Dr Paul Smith claims to need a personal assistant. Wants me to cash this check, deduct my "fee" of $550 and use the rest of the money to buy toys for an orphanage. If only there were really good people like this left in the world, they wouldn't use craigslist to hire a personal assistant. I still have the cashiers check, I wouldn't dare attempt to cash it. As well as all the emails to and from this paul smith. 

Today I received a cashiers check in the amount of $4880.00 delivered over night by fedex. The name Linda Kent Or Hunt can't clearly make out the name, is the person that sent the package.. the Cashiers Check is a chase bank check made out to me, signed by Michael Andrews (Senior VP of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Columbus OH) Remitter Shannon Pendergrass.

I am not sure what to do but throw the check away, but I would hate to see someone desparate fall for this. I desparate for a job, but not stupid enough to fall for this. Others Beware!!
