I wished to join a site to download music. Bearshare was recommended to me, so I Googled it and saw a tempting offer, to join for £17.88.

I decided join, but when I checked the confirmation Email I discovered that I had been charged a total of £45.70 for various extra software items that I had not ordered.

I tried to install the download software but although it downloaded a version of Limewire, the site would not work.

I tried to use the web address they gave me on the email but it didn't work, so I tried Google and all that came up for The Music Members Area was a link to Rip Off Report confirming my fears that I was just another sucker parted from his money by these fraudsters.
