I had done a few surveys for them concerning food package designs and how the concept of wording in packages. I had done research after having problems with them and found out that they used to have focus groups in the CA area instead. Now, they give a $5 Amazon gift card for your views on food packaging and done over the Internet.
The first survey I did back in Oct. I questioned them about not receiving the gift card, after exchanging a few emails, they did resubmit another code for the Amazon gift card. The SECOND survey done in December I was awarded the $5 Amazon card with no problem. This last one however, in January I took the survey, it was submitted and again no code for the gift card. I emailed and received a reply that I did not submit the survey. Which was a lie as I actually submitted the survey the day I received the email. With that same email reply she stated that I had done several surveys last year, and for some reason I guess I wasn't entitled another survey even though I had an email invitation. When I corrected her on the number of surveys she stated that I had done 5 surveys with 3 of them in Dec.
I contacted Amazon asking for all the $5 gift cards that was awarded to me from foodcom and to send me an email so as I could forward it to foodcom. They sent an email stating that I claimed one in August, one in October and the last one in December. I forwarded the email to her and received another reply stating that Amazon did not correctly give all information. She still stated that I had done three in the month of December. Its very funny, as I would recall gift cards redeemed just a month beforehand. She also stated in the email the 2 other dates that Amazon had forgotten to put in and told me the numbers. This was not a forwarded email from Amazon but just typed in from her, making this even more unbelievable.
I asked her to send me an email forwarded to me stating that I had received the gift card codes.
I never did receive another reply from her.
