Let me explain to you how exactly this company is ripping off a lot of people. There is another one called MarketingTips.com which is even more blatant in their ripoff, run by a guy named 'Corey Rudl', which may or may not be his real name. Doesn't matter.

Ripoff #1: AuctionSecrets.com

Tremendous time and effort has been spent on the sales webpage. It promises all kinds of secrets about eBay selling and buying, and they offer a refund. So I order the thing and what I found was the most simplistic 2 hour video about how to list auctions on eBay. It covered all the minute things that nearly every eBay user already knows. Total cost for video? $100 + shipping. I was thoroughly disgusted. I sent for a refund, and never heard from them, until I emailed them 3 times and threated them. Refund was issued, minus the shipping.

Ripoff #2: TrafficSecrets.com

This has got to be one of the world's biggest ripoffs. This guy John Reese conducts a 'traffic secrets' seminar and hires a guy to videotape the whole thing. He splits it up onto many DVDs and sells the whole package for a whopping $1,047 plus FedEx shipping! So first of all he is charging the attendees of the seminar $3,000 or more, and on top of that he is simply redistributing it on DVD for that much. And to top it off, the books that come with it are simply transcripts of the whole seminar! They add a few VCDs, putting only a little bit of information on each one to give the illusion of a lot of 'stuff', but it is so transparent what they are doing. They offer money-back guarantee, but they refuse to respond for my return even though I have delivery confirmation.

Ripoff #3: MarketingTips.com

Okay, the last one was a ripoff but this one is the ultimate ripoff. 2 medium-sized books for $1,047 + FedEx shipping! Holy crap! And then, they upsell you a 3-DVD set called 'Ultimate Seminar' in which all they do is promote their products. And I mean that's ALL they do. There was not one tip in there that was independent of their products. In fact one of the DVDs was entirely devoted to showing you how to operate one of their programs. The man makes $6 million a year, and now I can see why. Returning it was easy, but they take advantage of people's lethargy and laziness. If only 50% of the people make returns, they are still FAR ahead of the game. DVDs and packing which cost probably under $5 for the whole thing brings them over $1,047 plus thousands more from each buyer in sales of their software. Yuck.

Please DO NOT buy from these companies that go with the name of InfoBack Corp. as they have the same tactics for selling all their products. Free information packaged in a hefty DVD-set with lots of paper to increase the fluff. Be very cautious. This reminds me of the real estate gurus, where they repackage the same information and upsell their own real estate analysis software (I have Russ Whitney's deceptive selling techniques in mind).

#1 Owner of Company

This is a completely false complaint

AUTHOR: John - Orlando (U.S.A.)

This is John Reese, the owner of the company that this report is about.

First of all, MarketingTips.com, and the details about that complaint has nothing to do with my company -- that's a completely different company.

Secondly, my company has been in business online for over 10 YEARS. Yes, 10 years. We have never refused to issue an immediate refund to ANYONE. Never. In fact, many times we will issue a refund before even receiving the merchandise back. Furthermore, we have NEVER not issued a full refund. Every refund we have ever issued INCLUDES the original shipping and handling fees. What this person is claiming is 100% FALSE.

I just searched our customer database and there was never an order for our AuctionSecrets.com product from someone with a first name of "Nick" from Seattle.

Whoever this person is, I challenge them to produce evidence that the refund we issued did not include their original shipping and handling fees. It's real easy to clear this up, just state what their actual name is and when they placed the order and I can provide proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that this claim is 100% FALSE. Or they can just provide their original order ID number (and not state their name) and we can find the order history that way.

The comments about our TrafficSecrets.com product also completely and utterly FALSE. First of all, the product sells for $997 and ships via UPS. The person filing this claim got BOTH of those facts incorrect. We also do not show a record of anykind for a "Nick" from Seattle that purchased this product. (No surprise.) The claim that this person purchased this product and was refused a refund is 100% FALSE. We've never, yes, never have refused to issue a refund to ANYONE. (It's against the law!)

As far as the content of our products are concerned, it's ridiculous that I would even have to post on a site like this to defend them. Anyone can go to our web site and read the fully documented testimonials and actually go and contact those people to get an opinion. Many of them allowed us to list their web site addresses so they can easily be found. I would also challenge anyone to go and post in any marketing-related discussion forum online and ask about our products.

We work very hard to create some of the best Internet Marketing teaching products in the world and our products are changing people's lives. We have documented success stories of people buying our products and applying the strategies and growing their online sales from $5,000/month to over $50,000/month. And that's just one of over 100 fully documented success stories.

I challenge this person to provide PROOF of their order(s) and that they returned any product and did not receive a 100% full refund.

I question this person's credibility (not just because they posted false information about our products) but because of the LOGIC they used in doing so...

So let's get this straight... they ordered our $100 AuctionSecrets.com product and it was so horribly bad *AND* we weren't going to give them a refund (and only when we did we didn't even give them shipping and handling back) that this person was so disgusted, unhappy, and unsatisifed that they decided to go and order our $997 TrafficSecrets.com product? It just doesn't make any sense.

And just for the record, this person also posted false information about MarketingTips.com -- another company. Their two manual course sells for $397 (sometimes $197 when they run specials) not over $1,000. Evidence of this can be seen at their web site at this URL: http://www.marketingtips.com/tipsltr.html

#2 Consumer Comment

John Reese

AUTHOR: Cranberryworld - Provo (U.S.A.)

I don't know why someone would complain about John Reese. He is one of the most honest business people I've ever encountered. In addition he refunds promptly if a customer is not satisfied. His products are not "Fluff" but contain researched and tested information. Come on folks, if you are going to complain at least find something real to complain about.
