I'm sorry to say that I didn't know about this website, ripoffreport.com before my company engaged with SixChannels Marketing.

Like others I am getting the run around form SixChannels about acquiring a refund from them. My company purchased a list back in March 2008 in which we overpaid (they promised us 7200 names and we only got half of that number). The list was not very good and also very generic - we asked for Phara companies and got actual Pharmacies. But since we had this credit, I thought we would just use it up.

I contacted our rep, Alex Cooper, who was very responsive until the list was due. At that point he stopped returning my phone calls and e-mails. When I enquired about his whereabouts, I was told he was away getting married! Like HELLO....ever heard of an out of office message on your e-mail or voicemail???

I escalated my frustration up to his "boss" - Steve Sujith - who promised me I would have a list by December 19th. Alas, no list was provided to me so I told Steve I just wanted my money returned to me.
That is where my saga really begins. Since asking for our $4000 refund Steve's e-mail address no longer works and he never returns my voicemails. I have left him one everyday since December 22nd. I have tried various methods to get a hold of him, calling the customer service number, calling his number from a different area code, etc. I was finally put through to Nancy Palmer, who promised me I would hear from her boss by the end of the day. Alas, no phone call. Now I'm getting the run around from Nancy's assistant.

So this morning (Jan 8/09) I called into the customer service number and demanded to speak to someone in upper management. After being on hold for about 15 minutes, low and behold, Steve Sujith gets on the phone and tells me that my refund is under "consideration", and I have to show him proof that I didn't get his e-mails (how do you prove that?) and send him the mail failures I received.

This company is very skilled at making you wait around for someone to call you back and "conveniently" has e-mail troubles when you are trying to respond to them.

I'll update my report when I hear back *today* about the decision from the CFO about our refund. If I get anywhere, I will gladly let you know what I did, and the numbers I called.

SixChannels is operating under a new Company Name

AUTHOR: Beanpin - Mississauga (Canada)

Funny enough - I got an automated generated e-mail this morning from my account rep at SixChannels (this after having a very heated debate on the phone about my refund). and low and behold he is operating under the company PR-Movers!

So I wanted to update my listing here to add PR-Movers to the list of scam artist companies that fall under the SixChannels umbrella.

I was told during my heated debate over my refund that because I filed a report on here, I caused SixChannels to lose $10,000 worth of business. I hope it's true, because I know I will never see the $3500 they owe me.
