My card was used to order a service via the net. After ordering was asked about this different service. They were told "no, I'm not interested". That should have been that. Instead pressure is applied, you think it's free and then you say "yes".

They are so slick they tape the message for you to listen to. My girlfriend was using my card and when I complained to thier employee Marrissa, she says "We have her on tape, we tape all the calls so when this situation arises we can play it back". I said it sounded like a lot of people must call surprised when it's on their credit card bill. When the tape was played, the first thing my girlfriend said, as mentioned above is "no I'm not interested". I stated "see, she said no" and Marrisa says "keep listening". I did for a good 3-4 minutes while my girlfriend was badgered incessently until the wording implied it was free and she agreed because she thought it was free. The salesman was not clear in his explanation as to what it took to be free.

I asked Marrisa for a credit and she said I wasn't elligible. I said then that's no. She stated again she didn't refuse, I'm not elligible. I still don't know what it takes to be elligible for a rebate on a service you were tricked into buying and then never logged on.

If I ask for a credit and I am not told "yes" then only one real answer exists.

They did say they'd have someone call me, and they never spoke to me, the cardholder, they called and woke my girlfriend who didn't even know who she was talking to. I was told later she thought someone called from the website I was working with, but she is heavily medicated and wasn't sure what she said. I have not received a call, I suppose if my cat knocks the phone off the hook that counts as a call back too.
