I noticed that I was being charged $1.00 on my credit card statement and was not aware of what it was for. After looking online I noticed that there was an article about this company, on this website, which provided a phone number I could call. I immediately was connected to a human being, since the phone number provided on my statement was computerized and immediately hung up on me.
The woman I spoke too told me that when I signed up for a free credit report through Privacy Matters that I also enrolled into this club. I asked if I was told, and she stated that it is mentioned in the agreement statement. I was able to cancel the membership and she said she will be crediting back my credit card for the monthly charges. So, April, if your husband signed up for a free credit report to make sure there wasn't any fraud that is when he signed up for the club savings. I was unaware of it, and I am sure he was too. It just amazes me that I was trying to make sure I didn't have identity theft after my wallet was stole and this happens. They get you someway or another!!!
