I had two accounts with them for ten years. Both were 6 meg service but could never achieve more than 2. Both accounts monitored security systems over broadband which documented loss of communication to the central station, every time the dsl went down it was logged. Documents show multiple outages per day and some lasting multiple days. One account was down more than 30 days under a trouble ticket, and I was charged full price. Analyzing the logs, I found that I was without coverage an average of 28% of the time. I had a $5 per month, per account discount but after complaining about paying for speed that was not attainable, one account was reduced to 3 meg with a corresponding $7 per month decrease, but they removed the discounts which resulted in a net cost increase for reduced speed. I found the other account was set to the lower speed with no reduction in cost. When the accounts were canceled effective 2-1-2010, they prorated and charged 10 days service, based on 28 days in Feb. to maximize their take, but shut off the accounts and emails immediately. Again I am paying for service I do not have. I now have consistent 16 meg service with no outages using the same equipment.
