Purchased prepaid bandwidth, also known as a "crazy deal", from cihost.com aka www.gamevault.com

My first server that was to be colocated in their facility was not put online for two weeks without explanation. After it was put online it never functioned properly due to poor network conditions both inside and outside their facility. Showing them clear and concise data of the problem gets you nowhere.

Second server was lost for four weeks after its documented arrival via UPS, again without explanation.

Promises 99.9% operational connectivity on their network. Not true. When we called in to report a two day outage we were told in a rude voice "we dont know whats wrong".

Dont ever prepay bandwidth anywhere. If a deal sounds too good to be true it is. Make sure you check BBB Better Business Bureau before choosing an internet provider. Especially for commercial purposes. Make sure you check their at a BBB site.

Colocation service and bandwidth provided as sold

This customer was not happy. He received a FULL REFUND even though our CRAZY DEAL/SPECIAL PROMOTIONS policy clearly states he can receive an account credit only. C I Host ALWAYS takes care of our custoemrs even if they are not happy with our service we want to part on good terms.

I am truly sorry this customer had an issue with our service. The other 215,000 that we have currently are completely happy. I wish this customer continued success with his new hosting provider.

Im not going to go back on forth with this because this first response isnt remotly true. I colocated my equipment after discussing our needs with your salesman Chris. He promised me the quality of the network was good enough to host game servers. The network was horrific and the cihost, Beford, Tx lost my clearly marked equipment for six weeks.

What is credit going to do if the connectivity isnt there? You promise high percentage uptime. Why isnt it there? CONSTANT DISCONNECTS AND LOSS OF CONNECTION. Two day outage and we get "we dont know" over the phone in a rude voice. We have been respectful and understanding of all of the issues. The failure to refund an account that is days old is absurd and wrong. If you stood by your performance and quality of the service you provided it wouldnt be an issue at all.

I have sent multiple emails to request credit towards another account with ZERO response so we could then sell that to someone else to recoup cost. No response.

Chris why dont you contact me directly to resolve the problem? I have never taken the effort to spread the word about a horrific experience, I wish my problems had been dealt with in any respect.

I got no answers and dont expect any. This wasnt done in haste. I submitted information necessary to resolve the issues. A non profit group of combat veterans past and present paid for that service. We have one in Iraq, One in Bosnia six retired from Desert Storm. Two active navy and two Marine Corp officers. They send their thanks for ruining something we planned and saved for for 4 years.

Just read your response again. To say that I got my money back is an absolute bold faced lie.

Spend 5-10 minutes looking around at what people pull on one another before doing business. This host had hundreds and hundreds of BBB and other complaints around the web. Same responses everywhere you go. Rebuttals just like this one follow. Its too easy to find stuff out there. Just do a google search and there is a ton of material to read about this first class rip off artist.

According to a response that cihost sent to the BBB I am receiving a refund. If that is actually the case I will remove the various complaints I spread around the web. If this company does the right thing I will certainly let everyone know.
