PeoplePC Started billing me three months after request for cancelation and told me I never canceled. Atlanta Georgia

In January 2008 I opened an account with People PC as they offered a month free to try their service. I was going to the VA Hospital in San Diego for a Laryngectomy later that month and needed a way to use my laptop there as I would be in the hospital for up to two weeks. The iternet service was so slow that I only tried to use it twice. It took forever to get on the net and be able to get to my email account at yahoo. Once out of the hospital I was unable to talk so I had to write every thing and use email for communications. At home I had DSL so I forgot about People PC. They started taking $13.90 out of my Bank account on 3/8/08 - 4/8/08 - 4/29/08 - 5/29/08. In may I had surgery again and a voice prosthesis so I could start to talk again. The 1st of June I called PeoplePC and asked them to cancel my accountand when asked why I told them I had DSL and did not like their service or use it since Feb. 1st or so. They in turn told me they were sorry and woud give me 2 months for free as a back up for my DSL and I said I do not need or want it and they said that's ok it is just a courtesy and asked if I needed anything else. I said no and have a good day. The other person said you too. Today 8/30/08 I see a Charge on my Bank from PeoplePC and call them only to find out that in that 2 month or so period I was to call the and Cancel again and get a conformation number to prove that I canceled. I now have that number but still can't get my money back because they do noy give refunds. They also asked if I wanted to keep the people email account for a dollar something a month and I told them they must be out of thier mind as I have never used it.
