SBC - YahooSBC - MissouriSBC Yahoo RIPOFF $200.00 Early Termination Fee Kansas City Missouri

When we moved from Kansas to Missouri we decided to try DSL. SBC Missouri was offering their DSL service for $26.95 per month with the first 2 months free.
I specifically asked the Customer Service Rep. what happens if I get DSL and don't like it.
She told me I had 30 days to cancel with no early termination fee so we gave it a try. That was on 05/17/2004. Today (06/08/2004)I called to cancel my DSL and was informed that I would have to pay the ETF. I tried to explain what was told to me, but she wasn't trying to hear me. All she would say was they don't offer free trials and if anyone told me this they were wrong.

I asked to speak with a supervisor. She told me she could have a supervisor contact me within 72 hours.
I'm pretty upset by now but here's the kicker...
She tried to sell me satelite service for the tv! Can you beleive that?

I'll let you know what happens but I think we all know. That's okay though, I'm changing to a different phone company next week. After this $200.00 they will NEVER get another dime of my money.
