Callwave ripoff Santa Barbara California

I received a bill from Callwave charging me $3.95 up to May 27, 2004. On the same bill it states that I owe them another $3.95 through Novmber 18, 2004 for a total of $7.90.

I never subsribed to Callwave nor gave Callwave or Alltel the authorization for this service since I previously had cable modem and now have DSL and absolutely no need for the service.

I tried to e-mail them at the, "care-billing84callwave.com," on their statement and it couldn't be delivered.

I will submit this rip-off to the PSC and the Kentucky Attorney General's Office. This is a certified rip-off between Callwave and the telephone companies. I also intend to submit this complint and rip-off to the Santa Barbara Better Business.

This is a total illegal scam when Callwave and Alltel were not given any consent or authorization to charge this account to my phone bill. The telephone companies are as much at guilt as Callwave for not contancting customers to confirm an authorization or unauthorized statement to bill their customers for this service.

It may be nickel and dime scams but I'll be damned if I don't raise a million dollar's worth of hell over companies that practice illegal unauthorized billings in my name.
