Hughesnet Didnt explain the limitations of the system ,sales person led me to believe majic jack (an internet phone service)would work with their system,told us we would have unlimited " fast"service, Germanton Maryland

When we were sold Hughesnet we were never told about their limitations (200 mb downloading a day)and after that you go into dial-up mode. Well after about three hours the first day reconfiguring everything to get our pc to work with the new system.(the installer didnt know how to set up the hughesnet modem) We then went to try the Majic Jack we had purchaced at the suggestion of the sales person. Guess what? It didn't work. why? because Hughesnet's service isn't fast enough to run it.(nor I am told any sat. sys.

Day two; We started downloading updates to the computer we bought for our daughter after about three hours its like the down loads stopped. since we didnt know what was going on ,my wife started checking out different things in our system.

Late that night after hours of trying everything I finally got ahold of a very nice man named Simmon that told me what was up. appraently if you only want to check your E-mail once a day hughesnet is for you.

Well we went to cancel our service and we are responsible for sending all equipment back at our cost! So I asked to talk to a supervisor .

I then talked to possibly the rudest woman I have encountered in my 55 years on this planet.after being verbely abused for about 5 minutes Iasked to speak to her sup. and was told that she would be the last person I got to talk to.

To say that we are disappointed would be a massive understatment and after reading what others have experienced. I guess Im not alone
