I signed up to three different porn sites for the 3 day free membership. But what I didnt know is that they also sign you up to other porn sites that you did not want. I saved the email confirmations sent from those sites(unfortunately distroyed by a virus)which gave all the information I needed. I called up to dispute the amount they took from my checking account which was $520.

They said that I still had sites that were opened that I did not sign up to. They continued to insist that I did. They also told me that I had their website on the confirmations but when I looked that wasnt there either. I visited the site while on the phone with them and cancelled these memberships but they also stated that I will be billed a month after even after I cancelled. Recently (today) I got a notice from the bank that I owe $449.95.

I checked the site and loe and behold I found internet sites that were opened that I never opened and ones that I closed were again open. NEVER OPEN ANY INTERNET ACCOUNTS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

closing my old checking account and opening a new one under a new number

AUTHOR: Paul - malden (U.S.A.)

I am closing my old checking account and opening a new one under a new number. their number is 800-717-7176 as others i have read pointed out. citizens bank wont allow me to close the account until ihave paid hte -173 due to wts. They billed me more than a dozen times in 2 days. They also said when i called them after they laughed at me, that they would send me the bill instead of billing the bank. I have filed a complaint with the ftc and i am filing one to the atorney general.

E-Commerce Web Transaction Services still Fraudulent

AUTHOR: Paul - malden (U.S.A.)

They sent me a packet of all their copies and are still saying that I signed up for these sites. I did close out of them but a month later I found a few sites that were reopened and they were billing me for the month of october. They now say that I still owe them money including a 25 dollar handling fee, including the money they say I still owe them. Will anyone else back me up on this? I did find several reports on this company and I believe they are fraudulent.

Get your money back!!!

AUTHOR: Vicki - Austin (U.S.A.)

All you have to do to get some of the charges back is to file an affidavit with the bank claiming the charges as unauthorized and the bank will credit back sixty days worth of charges.

If the bank won't and you call the 800 number enough they will finally give in and give you a partial refund.

Also, talk to the bank about blocking all future charges with WTS. Furthermore, as far as the collection letters like Paul's go, if you write them a hot check, just ignore it. They don't have your social security number and can't report you to any credit bureaus.
