I even sent a cease/desist letter saying that I was still not interested. then today, I check my e-mail and what I do see.
3-emails from JR LONGO and Paula Smith still wanting me to join their company.
I have wrote to careerbuilder.com to no avail!

Career builder is not who is calling you. It's the employer who likes your qualification so much that's calling you. Contacting career builder will do nothing since they are paid by these companies to view resume's.

Sean, the problem is that I have contact careerbuilder about JR LONGO and Paula Jones and that I told Careerbuilder AND JR LONGO AND PAULA JONES that I was not interested. I turned them in already one time back in Jan. AND YET, IT IS JR LONGO AND PAULA JONES THAT STILL CONTACT ME.
I even sent JR LONGO and PAULA JONES a e-mail saying to CEASE AND DECIST and still they have contacted me.
I told careerbuilder that I did not want any contact from JR LONGO and PAULA SMITH and BANKER CAREERS. It is CAREERBUILDER, JR LONGO and PAULA SMITH that is not listening.
How many times do I have to say no for them to listen?

CareerBuilder has no way to stop what is probably a software program (that sends you and everyone else in their database of email addresses) from sending you emails on a daily basis. My best advice would be to consider it spam and have future contact blocked via a spam filter. Also, since the job search can be hard and a lot of companies look for "turn and burn" employees that they anticipate high turnover for, it would be wise if you registered a job-search-only email address. Make it your name @ serviceprovider.com. Don't use anything like sexy69@sexy.com... If you were a Hiring manager would you ask "sexy69" to come in for an interview? doubtful.
Again, even though you've contacted careerbuilder, they cannot remove information that JR Longo already has about you.... the toothpaste is already out of the tube... I removed my resume from Job Sites over a year ago and I still get offers for interviews in my inbox - what happens is these companies keep selling your information to other companies. CareerBuilder DOES NOT and HAS NOT EVER sold your information to someone. We do make your information visible, if you so choose to make it visible, to Hiring Managers looking for people like you. They type in a few keywords and see your information via a resume database search tool. If you put your information there then undoubtedly they found it. The resume database search option is also VERY EXPENSIVE. It is expensive to ensure that scammers aren't getting access - however there a lot of companies that pay for this service, and MOST are GOOD... don't let one bad apple ruin your job search!!!
Try the "separate" email address for your job searches and hopefully you wont be so annoyed!!

If careerbuilder,HiringMax and Monster just wants money from any kind of company (scam/fraud/misleading) just to fill out spots on their site, they are no better than the scam/fraud/misleading companies they let advertise/contact you. Just look at comments by Mike rebuttal that he is getting a job there and was there observing their ways of operation and says people have to check out any company job offer before answering. And that these comments on here are a waste because he's going to work for them (careerbuilder)and they are not a SHADY outfit.
Wrong! Any LEGITIMATE company would check out any company/product before letting advertise/sell on their site/store , but as Mike states they are calling everyone and everybody just to fill their site they don't have time to check if it's a scam/fraud and that's the consumers job not theirs. So that comment right there tells anybody what kind of company Careerbuilder really is , just get paid and fill the spot no matter what it is scam or fraud. Just think what kind of reputation they will have now and do you think their business will get better when this kind of information gets around? Can't imagine how long this kind of companies will be around for, NFL NOT FOR LONG I BET. Sooner or later what your known for gets around one way or another , people do talk more about the bad companies and where not to go than any other advertised method.
