they have gotten into my computer under the guise of helping me get rid of pop ups, but they are a pop up themselves! I keep removing them and doing a block on the name but i can not get rid of them.

an excellent pop-up killer

If you want a good, totally free, pop-up killer, that doesn't include any spyware or adware, go to download.com, type POP THIS 4.0 in the search box and download it to your computer. It works fantastic. You don't even know it's working, there's no chimes or reports when it blocks a pop-up, it just does it's job. I haven't had one ad interrupt my surfing since I installed it two months ago.

Just so you know, I'm not affiliated with this company in any way. I endorse it because it makes life on the internet much better.
