Hughes Net Hughes Net Did Nothing But Lie and Refuse To Give My Money Back Germantown, Maine

Hughes Net is a horrible company and I would never use them again ! They did nothing but lie to us about the service we were suppose to get and then refused to give us our money back ! This company should not even be allowed to be running !

We were promised lighting fast speed , unlimited download and my $99 connect fee refunded back to us . We recieved NONE of these ! The internet is as slow as dial up , you have a limit on what you can download and they refuse to give you your rebate as promised !

When they are getting you to sign up with them they never inform you of ANY of these things . They do nothing but promise you a bunch of lies . Then when you find the truth out and confront them about it they try and turn it around on you ! Customer Service is very nasty and not willing to help you at all !

We had to pay 99 for a connect fee which was promised to be given back in 2 weeks ( which was a lie you have to wait 2 months for it ) , 59 for first month service and then we had to pay 50 more when they where here hooking it up cause the customer service lady did not inform them we lived in a brick house ! Total of 208 ! We called the day we got it to complain about how slow it was . This is when we were informed of all these things ! We told them we wanted to cancel service with them . They informed us out of the 208 we paid they would only give us 24 back !

This company is not what they promise to be and you can tell they do this often because none of the customer service people seemed to be concerned about what is going on ! I hope that this company gets shut down and if there is anyway I could be a part of that I would be ! It is not right for hard working people to be cheated out of their money .
