I received a check from Frisco, Co on Saturday and was a little curious about the way the check looked so I did my own research and found out it was a scam. If anyone gets an e mail from John Hewes, Beware, he will instruct you to cash the check at your bank, take out 10% for your " troubles" and wire the remaing to a person in West London. The checks are cashiers checks so the banks will cash them, however, when the banks find out the checks are phony you are responsible. Please do not get caught up in this scam.
