I am reporting a fictitious person named Wendy Evans using the email addresses of: wendyevans_110@yahoo.com and wendyevans_111@yahoo.com
This person tried to place radio advertisements though our radio stations advertising English Bulldog Puppies for adoption. She gave us a false address and phone number along with invalid credit card information to pay for the advertisements. When the credit card information was declined I decided to do some looking on my own and found the other report on this website. We did not air the ads thank goodness.
I decided to create an email address and correspond with this person to see if it was in fact the same person and I do believe it is. Below is the email correspondence I received. Basically the just of the scam is that you wire this person the money and they will "ship" the puppy to you. Obviously you never get your puppy and they keep the money. PLEASE do not fall for this.
Here is the email correspondence. The message begins at the bottom. Notice its not convenient to pick the puppies up in person.
I would like to pick them up from you. If you are busy those days then which day would work for you.
I
do not feel comfortable having the puppies shipped. I do not have any
problem paying the $250 adoption fee in cash. Please give me a
convenient time and location where we can meet so that I may pick up
the puppies.

Thanks for your interesting, am glad you want them...firstly which of
the baby you want? do you want a male or female, to bring to your
notice these days will not work for as am very busy person, the best
way is to get back to me with your address, so i will just send them to
you, the adoption fee is just $250. so get back to me with your address
to send them and let me know which one you want.
