I thought I was purchasing a high quality diamond solitaire necklace. They said it would be H/SI1 minimum. When I received the diamond, I took it to be valued by a trusted jeweler. He told me that it was K-L/SI2 and an old European cut. Eighty years old to be exact.
When I called them, I was transferred to one of the owners, and he told me there must be some mistake. He was very rude and did not want me to return it. I did get a return number and was told to send it Registered mail and insure it.
Well, there's a reason they wanted it insured. After getting delivery confirmation from the Post Office, I called them back and guess what?? They never received it. How neat and clean to have the Post Office pay me for the necklace instead of them having to refund my money.
Now I have filed a claim with the Post Office, but I doubt they will pay it, because they say it was delivered. This company is a rip off of Blue Nile, who my jeweler said is a good company. Stay away from Brilliance at all costs!!!!

Thankfully, the package was recovered, so I must say that Brilliance was not at fault in losing the package. They have also promised to refund my money fully. That does not change the fact that the diamond sent was lesser quality than they promised, and the grading certificate was on their letterhead and not done by an independent appraisal company.
