TopValueWatches Watch collectors may fall victim this Scam site with bogus certification New York New York

In December 2007, I wanted to buy a gift for my son for new year. Found this site of topvaluewatches.com carrying certification of one EuCertAgency and displaying labels of American Express & UPS.

EuCertAgency certified this site which could seen on its site also. I selected Longines Master Collection Watch and asked for discount. The Company immediately sent me mail giving 15% discount. When I placed online order I was sent an invoice and a request to make the payment through Western Union on the name representative Mr. Mathew Jones in Rome, Italy because company claimed that their Europe office is located at: Via Mocasini, 62/a, Rome, 01783, Italy and they claimed that they can give discounts only if paid through this mode because they could save on taxes. I made the transfer of Euro 1044.03 on 26 Dec 2007 and sent them email with scan of payment receipt. Company confirmed receiving the amount on 29 Dec and promised to ship the watch to my mail forwarding address in Bradenton California.

After day or so website was not approachable on net as it became inactive. After writing several mails I contacted EuCertAgency and asked them of Company,s site. They replied that they never had any complaint about the company and they will get back to me. They never did.

On 9th January site of topvaluewatches became active. But when I tried to approach them could not yield any reply. Their fax received my complaint transmissions but there was no reply from the company.

I launched complain with EucertAgency according to their directions given on their site. But they did not bother to give any reply. The company,s website is active with emblems of American Express, GeoTrust and UPS and with the certification of EuCertAgency. Now 25% discount is offered to would be customers which will end up as victims sooner or later.

I am giving this report in public interest only. I know I made a mistake by trusting them and taking the option of sending money through Western Union. I know that I will not be able to get my hard earned money back but this report may save some dollars of would be victim, if so happens it will compensation to me. One should always be cautious to verify certifying organizations also, if those agencies are legitimate themself first. One can check their status on who.is and can find that they have changed their certain addresses to Kirkland WA. This site will definitely close down soon after ripping off few dozen more looking for watches on good price.
