Christmas 2000, my husband bought me a heart-shaped diamond necklace from Zales Jewelry located at the Southern Hills Mall in Sioux City, Iowa at a cost of $212.96. Just before Christmas 2001, I noticed that two of the diamonds were missing, so I took it back to the mall store to be repaired. That was the last time I saw it!!

Zales Rip-Off Update

AUTHOR: ED - Salt Lake City ()

Call it coincidence or whatever, but I got a call from the manager of the Southern Hills Mall Zales store tonight. Seems he was talking to his boss and they decided that I should come out and pick out anything in the store that I wanted. So, I picked out a ruby and diamond pendant worth a little more than I had paid for my original piece. Although this does not bring back my original necklace, I will give them an "E" for effort. And, no, I will not be doing any further business with Zales. There should have been no question from the very first day that this would have been the proper course of events.
