RPM Auto Sales And Service Withheld information and concealed true 30 day warrenty clause Saginaw Michigan

After we purchased our Chevy S-10 Blazer from this dealer, there was no heat. We returned the vehicle the next day to report the problem, and was told that we had to leave it. We informed them that we did not have another vehicle and that we had children in school whom needed the transportation (they have a policy of no loaner cars), also we were told that there is no guarentee that the vehicle would be ready by the end of the day.

I ended pay another mechanic $142.00 to fix the heat. This is within the first week of posessing the truck. That same week, as I was helping a friend who had ran out of gas; as we were parked in back of his truck waiting for a tow truck, my S-10 while idling, just stop running. When the tow company came for my friend, the nice gentlemen gave me a jump start, and the vehicle ran and stop again. I was told that my alternator was bad.

All of this happende before we could make the first payment. Upon careful inspection of the vehicle after these two incidents, I noticed considerable rust on the pins to the tailgate. After that, my son went to fuel the truck and noticed that the gas cap, door and tank had considerable rust. We later found the same rust inside the front doors, around the hinge and rubber booting. It was later determined by two different auto dealers, that the S-10 that we purchased had been underwater.

As for the other problem. I took the truck in for the alternator and was told that I would have to pay for it.

The vehicle had a 30-day warrenty on the motor, transmission, and the 4 wheel drive box.

What was not revealed to us, was the fact that the warrenty only covered the internal motor parts, transmission, and drive box.

Please! Be careful when dealing with this dealer. My only wish, was that we were not pressed for a vehicle a the time that we bought this one.
