Angelo Defeo, owner of Defeo consultants L.L.C.,A.D.A. Corporation stated he was going to rent my family a single family home and repair this home, including fixing holes in the walls, painting, draining the water in the basement, and putting down carpet and flooring. He stated he needed a $950.00 security deposit and after he recieved the deposit he would start working on the house and we could move in in about two weeks. I gave him a $950.00 money order the next day. No work was ever done on the house. Mr. Defeo refused to give us our money back. He said that he spent it. He also said when he rented the house, he would give us the money back. That was in September, 1999. We have heard nothing from him. The house remains empty and in disrepair. We have since found a place to live but WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK. THE POLICE WONT HELP AND WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO HIRE A LAWYER. Please help us gt our money back.
