Equity Proporties, slumlords, The Retreat apartment complex ripoff, Rude, Horrible Service Phoenix Arizona

Hi Im writting this to make all renters aware The retreat is a pretty place pleasing to the eye at first. Aside from that the apts. are run down and prettied up junk boxes my dishwasher flooded the apt. after they "fixed" it once it flooded again they fixed it twice and it flooded again they fixed it three times and now it spits all of the water out of the sink drain. My washing machine is now also flooding the apt. the deadbolt lock fell out of my door.

The exhaust fan on the stove blows back into the kitchen so dont burn any food! The widows and screens are beyond filthy they were supposed to wash them 4 mounths ago when I moved in , Im still waiting. The carpet tacks are apprently wrong size and they stick out of the carpet enough that they stab your feet and hands (you will bleed) My 4 year old sure did!

They have a policy of calling the police on any complaint my four year old was evidently singing too loud on the porch. The phoenix police showed up and searched my entire apt. for some kind of foul play. This was 1:00 p.m. Just after lunch. They advertise a bussines center with 2 computers that have internet access , a copier and a fax machine they will show you this on your tour of these luxury apts. Be aware the olny thing in that center that works is one pc half of the time! The heated pool is not really heated and the door to the fittness room opens (sometimes).

Im writting this on the one working computer which I finnaly got to use at 11:30 p.m. there was quite a line! It will cost you a fifty dollar deposit just to get a key to get in here and after all of this I just spent 40 mins. explaining to the complex security gaurd That I dont work here I olny live here and I am allowed to be in this room Im not stealing this computer. After producing a copy of my lease he decided not to call the police!

So if your looking for an apt. that has second rate maintance , non working appliances and an atmosphere where you and your children will be treated like crimanals The Retreat Luxury Apts. are for you. If this is not your idea of a ideal living experince STAY AWAY from the retreat!!!

Oh yeah the rent here is also not any cheaper than the other luxury complexes in Phoenix so you do the math.
