Clean the already clean carpets?

I moved into my apartment at Korman Suites, Country Light Mews one
year ago. Since the apartment was a total disaster they had to
replace the carpets, doors and appliances.

Well, one year later I am moving out and I recieve a letter with the
steps I need to complete to move out. They want me to have the
carpets professionally cleaned! The carpets have no stains are in
perfect condition.

I called the manager who is the wicked witch of the west. She said
that even though the carpets are clean and it is not in the lease
that we are responsible.

I called another community owned by the same company and they told
me that this was not fair.

Korman pressures their tennants into cleaning carpets that do not
need to be cleaned. If there are stains, I would feel responsible
but not for perfectly clean carpets.

Can I do anything? No. They have me where they want me because they
have my security deposit.

Just another victim.....
