Park Place Apartments Company likes to scam College Students, they violate their own contracts Las Cruces New Mexico

This is easily the worst managed apartment complex I have ever seen. In October we caught them changing our contract from a year lease to a six month lease( though technically, it would have been 8 months, so they can't count as well). We never gave them authorization to do this.

Apparently, our last months rent has also been tampered with. The lanlords are saying that it was put towards June of 04( our second month). We were supposed to recieve a $100.00 off our first full months rent (June 04) and that also was not honored.

We attempted to pay them in March and they refused to accept our check. Again, they did not notify us that they refused to accept the check, ran up a bunch of late charges on us, and now expect us to pay it and April.
Avoid this trap at all costs. The buildings are poorly constructed, the gym is a joke, the pool is open only half the summer and they will bilk you for every dollar you have. They expect you to honor the lease but will break it themselves at every turn. They prey off of naive college students who know better, and constantly berate them with threats of eviction or court.
