I rented an apartment in 307 Wilson Ave for 2 1/2 years. Things were missing when we moved in, which Bruce Elia(the owner of prudential Elia) shrugged off. We had many problems, drains which were always clogged because we had to share drainage with another apartment. Broken doors, cracked windows which we repeatedly would bring to his attention and he would just ignore us. You get the picture.

We moved out and made sure the apartment was clean with normal wear and tear. He refused to give us any money back and after 30 days sent us a bill, not only keeping our deposit of $1275 but, also a bill for another $1000. And a note stating that he was thinking about a few more repairs which he figured we should pay for as well.

When we took him to court he only had pictures of the empty apartment with worn walls and pictures of all the things he always neglected to fix. He even took pictures of the furniture we left outside at the dumpster and claimed he had to remove them from the premises. He bought new locks and claimed we had reuined them. He painted the apartment with our money. Even when he admitted he had painted 12 months before we moved in. Imagine thinking a tenant is responsible for a coat of paint after you haven't painted in 3 1/2 years. Wood tile that is worth pennies, he used 980 dollars to supposedly refinish. The kind of wood tile that easily is replaced one square at a time.

The fact that he lied and tried to have us remodel his crappy apartment is why this man is a thief. I can only imagine how many others he has cheated in this way. DO not do business with this criminal or anyone from Prudential, especially his lackey Sasha who is just an extention of this sorry human being. Do not rent from 307 Wilson Ave LLC. You have been warned.
