Greenworks Wholesale Nursery, Ozark Mountain Nursery, Varney Design and Landscapes Awarded, Blue Sky Properties, Doube EE Restaurant and Pub, Varney Discount Cars..... are just a "few" of the companies an egotistical crook by the name of Steve Varney operates under. This man is a liar and a cheat. If he promises you anything, it will be a complete lie! He knows it all and has done it all - or says he has. He builds shacks for homes and charges hundreds of thousands of dollars for them, stealing from the locals, all the while sitting on the city council of a small and tight knit community of Highlandville, Missouri - bilking the locals of monies they do not have to lose. Controlling city government to his liking and buying off the small public service officials (or having affairs with the city clerks that can assist him in ficticious documents and signatures) and taking chrage of local law enforcement. Honesty, the mIssouri Highway Partol needs to seriously investigate this dud. He contamniates the small water district with his chemicals from his "nursery" operation and contaminates this once quiet community with his filth - selling drugs out the back door of his "pub" and fondling young girls.
We bought our retirement home from this low life creep. This was suppose to be such a fantastic home - our big dream. Our last and final achievement. Every decision we would have made on it, he overturned with his better idea. We have had nothing but problems - empty promises and lies from this unprofessional, lying jerk. this 300,000 home is falling apart underneath our feet, he will DO NOTHING to make things right. Everything is crooked, the walls are coming apart, we have water problems, sewage problems, his materials were cheap, there is so much mold it is sickening. "When you signed at closing, the deal was done" his lying mouth will greedily shout at you. He rips people off left and right. In Everything he does he is a liar! And you have to blame him, and not his employees, because he runs through them like water. Everyday you have to talk to someone different! this man cannot be trusted - even his own family can't. A builder he pretends to be - he builds crap - took all of our hard earned money and doesn't even care. And this man is suppose to be a builder and landscaper ....... our yard is a living (and dying) joke! A hazard at best!!
Everyone in this "neighborhood" that he allegedly built is pissed and ashamed. Now after all this so called smoke dreams of this great community he 'designed and planned and engineered for lifestyle longevity', he is going to stick in a strip mall with a dollar store right in front of our homes. And build charity housing to the east of our homes. Apartments, he claims. HUD housing we are told. Our dream home is now worth about 50,000. This was our life savings and he just rides around in his fancy trucks and harleys and boats (that we bought!) thinking he is king becuase he made all of this money off of these people and doesn't even care. Never mind that his illegal immigrants pee in our yards and steal from us. The whole neighborrhood is an eyesore with his equipment, and trash, and dirt piled everywhere.....Varney is always too busy to take our phone calls - "in a meeting HE ALWAYS SAYS" pretending to be "working" while he goes on with his life. How on earth can someone be in a meeting 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. Are they really that important ..... or avoiding reality. Or worse. Big time playboy, with all his girlfriends running roadblocks for him.
do not trust this man, any of his companies and do not move to Highlandville, Missouri. He thinks he runs the town and everyone in it. He will steal you blind and sell you a pipe dream. Unless of course, you just have money to through at him or a trophy wife you won't mind he sleeps with. Just heads up - the guy is a real creep. He will single handedly ruin the town of Highlandville and hurt the county beyond belief. Please consider wisely before you deal with this kind of individual. He is a real piece of work.
