MCEVERS LANDSCAPE, DOUG MCEVERS LAWN CARE RIPOFF SCOTTSDALE, Arizona

I contacted McEvers Lawn Care, which I found through Service Magic. Doug McEvers showed up to give me a quote. He was intoxicated (and obviously DUI, since he drove to my house), and blurted on about the great work he does, and talked too much about his greatness .. gag. He was very friendly though, the quote was reasonable, so we decided to give him a shot.

On the first day, Doug showed up with 1 helper, mowed the grass, barely trimmed the bushes, and did not pull any weeds. He was there maybe 20 minutes.  When the job was about 50% complete, Doug stopped working and started packing up to leave. I asked him if he was going to complete the job. He said that he was running behind and had to get to another job and would finish next week.

This was the FIRST visit. I tried contacting him to no avail to see when he would be back, but never heard anything. I have not seen him since. I have since hired another landscaper. This was a complete waste of my time. I cannot in good conscience recommend this guy.
