  We had just moved to Fl.  and this young college kid knocked on our door,  when I was told we had to sign a year contract, I SAID nO, and he said why, Not knowing if we were going to like Fla.  I did not want to be tied to a 12 month agreement.  He told me if that happened it would be canceled.  He even called someone and asked, and we were told he was right.  So we did.  The service was never right.  We kept developing more and more weeds.  The back yard was fine when we moved in,  but after they got thru, it was full of weeds.  The ordanmental tree in the front yeard got scales, and it is nearly dead.

Down the side of the house to the back yard was full of weeds, not grass.  We did put our home on the market in May, and was lucky enough to get a buyer in three days, in this terrible market.  We at that time had 2 more treatments, and I called and told them I needed to cancel our agreement, and they would not cancel.  They have been rude , we have had a very bad time with them, i refused to pay sometime in the Spring, because of the yard,  I even tried to cancel because I was so unhappy with their treatments.  Even tho the cancellation should be $100.00 they are charging me $321.00 for the yard and the pest cancellation.  We moved from the home in June, and are now renting a condo.  I do not think this is the way to build a business.  I am from Ohio, and we have an agreement, but if you are not satisfied  you are free to cancel, with no questions, expecially if you are moving.
I don't know where to go from here,  I think I might try Small Claims Court
