I had requested lawn service for my mother-in-laws house, which was being put on the market. I myself have done the lawn work so I know hoe long it actually takes to mow that lawn.
On the bill that came two months late, the workers claimed it took them three hours and two men to complete a 20 minute job. Charging me 250 dollars. I asked them to edge the sidewalks which I could have done a better job myself with a garden hoe, they didnt even clean it up.
They claimed to have cleaned up a huge pile of debri from the front lawn, there wasn't. The workers claimed to have been at the house from 8 am to 4 pm, they werent. I had gotten a call from the manager saying he was leaving early because of a meeting and that they would return the next day.
Three days later they return to mow the lawn. Again that wasn't even completed, they left out the sides of the houses and claimed to have "hand pulled" weeds. No evidence of such.
I then got a call from the financial department of Yard Elves telling me that they were going to send me to collections if I didn't pay my bill. I advised the woman that I hadn't recieved a bill, she said she sent it to the address that the work was being done at.
In the beginning I told the billing department that the house was empty and gave them the proper address to mail the bill. A month later I get an e-mail stating that again I'm about to go into collections.
I still haven't recieved a paper bill at this point. A week later I get the paper bill and it's a whopping 865 dollars. I highly dissagree with this, I argued with the financial department for a bit, and the woman I spoke to said the most she can bring it down to is 650 dollars. Again I disagree, she said that there is no proof that her workers didn't hand pull weeds etc. All in all I feel as though I was ripped off and I don't want this to happen to anyone else.

Almost two years later my mother in-law gets a phone call from the owner of Yard Elves. He informs her that if I do not take this report off this website than he will do everything in his power to destroy my credit.
My mother in law was originally paying them directly, I had nothing to do with the finances I was just setting up the appointment. So she sends them the final check and three months later they still haven't cashed the check. He again informs her that he will take me to court and ruin my credit if I don't erase this report.
