Word Smart Corporation Hooked me $57.90 monthly. San Diego, California

Salesman called me and said my 15 yr old had signed up at school and was interested in the word smart program to help him with his SAT's. After a few conversations by phone on different days with the same salesperson calling me, I consented to buying the $169.00 start up kit, only after I stated that I did not want to be on a monthly program. I told him I was using my visa bank card and if I was on a monthly auto program I would not purchase the program. After assuring me that I would only be billed one time and not monthly I popped on the start up kit and agreed to purchase additional programs at a discounted price of around $47.00 on my own, when needed. Not automatically... @ $ 57.90 per month with shipping..

with no refunds... even if the package had not been recieved. They bill you when the unwanted item is shipped,and there policy is no returns for no reason. Who would agree to that? They say I did and they have me recorded agreeing to that. I called them 3 times and they will not refund me. I said when the item arrives I am sending it right back and would be filling out a unauthorized charge report at the bank. The non-accomidating lady at word smart said that they will be sending the unwanted item back to me and send me to collections if I don't pay for the item. Because of this unplanned charge to my account I overdrafted 3 times @ $35.00 ea. time equalling $105.00... JUST GREAT! I'm a victim not a customer come to find out.
